WHAT ARE OSAT 2020 AND N40 IN ODMPS?

What is OSAT?
ODM Public School conducts an entrance exam at the beginning of every academic year known as OSAT- ODM Scholarship Admission Test for students applying to take admission in the school in Class XI. The qualification of this test serves as a mandatory criterion.
The students have to go through the next step of the admission process at ODM Public School post the entrance test i.e., the Personal Interview round. On the basis of the performance of the child in the test, he/she will quality for the pi and then subsequently for admission in the best residential school in Bhubaneswar. The top performers in the OSAT will be awarded with a scholarship post their qualification in an academic interview round.
The test is especially curated for giving smart and motivated students entering in class XI in Science & Commerce Stream. OSAT is designed around the following subjects for respective streams:

What is Nucleus 40 Batch?
ODM Public School offers a special batch for 40 students, known as NUCLEUS 40. The batch is designed to provide an integrated learning and preparations for JEE and NEET. The batch is curated to ensure that the students receive CBSE and entrance preparation under the same room and the students go through an integrated curriculum. This batch was created to offer a major advantage to the students as they will get 50% more time than normal students and can utilize the same by focusing on self-study and more practice.
Please note that the top students selected in a separate entrance exam will be admitted to this batch and some exceptional students will get scholarships as well.
Selection Criteria
The students in Nucleus 40 will be selected based on the following criterion:
  • Top Performance in OSAT 2020
  • NTSE, RMO or PRMO Qualifier
  • ODM Student with stellar academic records

After the whole admission drive is carried, and there are still any spots left to fill, then Direct Admission will be offered on the basis of Class X Board exam percentage.
